What Fluidmapper covers today

Fluidmapper is purpose-built for stirred tanks and mixing vessels. Here is what the platform handles today and where current boundaries lie.

  • Stirred tanks and mixing vessels

    Lab to pilot scale, up to ~1m diameter

  • Opaque, multiphase fluids

    Ambient to moderate temperatures

  • Rapid screening

    Impeller types, baffling, and operating parameters

  • CFD validation datasets

    Measured data for direct comparison with simulations

Detector calibration is reusable across multiple measurement campaigns for the same geometry.
Current limitations
  • High-temperature fluids (>80°C)

    Require specialized tracers currently in development.

  • Very large vessels (>1m diameter)

    Not yet validated at scale. Contact us to discuss your specific geometry.

  • Physical access required

    Tracer and detector placement requires direct access to the vessel.

  • Complements CFD, does not replace it

    Not a substitute for CFD in early-stage design. Best used to validate and refine simulation models.
